Vaastu Poojan

 

Instructions

  • Fasting is preferred.  The Poojan to be done while facing East, North-East or North.

  • No leather wallet, belt or leather wrist watch should be worn.

  • Quietness is preferred, please keep all cellphones switched off or on vibration mode.

  • Please have about 8” of dig on all four corners of property, NE, SE, NW and SW.

  • Poojan will be performed facing E, N or NE (Whichever direction that we get)

  • There will be a Hawan (Fire Sacrifice) for about 10 minutes and there may be little smoke so please either have the cross ventilation from doors & windows or remove the fire-smoke detector battery temporarily.

  • Entire Poojan/Hawan will go for about 3/3+ hours approximately.

 

List of Items 

  • 2 Bajoth (Chauki), 2 Copper Kalash, Red silk or Velvet clothe (2’ x 4’)

  • 3 Steel dish, 6 small steel bowls, 2 steel spoons, Clothe & Paper Napkins

  • 20 Sopari (betelnut), 16 Paan leaves, 1 Lb. Rice, ½ Lb. whole wheat, ½ Lb. Green Moong beans

  • Kumkum-Chandan, Nadachhadi (Moli or Kalawa), 1 Janoi

  • Water, Panchamrut, Ghee-Gud, Other Prasadam, 5 Fruits, 3 Coconuts

  • Akhand Deep (Diya), 1 Deep, Aarti (5 Deep), Incense sticks, Match Box, Ghee for Diya

  • Ganesh ji/Laxmi ji Idols, Loose Flowers, few Tulsi, Durwa grass, Banana leaves, 3 Dollar bills and 12 Quarter coins

  • Hawan Samagri (for Aahuti), Ghee, Wooden Sticks, Camphor

  • Ganesh Poojan

  • Punyahvaachan

  • Bhumi Poojan

  • Shala Karma Dwaar Poojan

  • Grah Pravesh

  • Grah Shanti/Vastu Hawan

  • Offering Prasadam

  • Aarti

  • Final Poojan and Conclusion

 

The performing Pandit can bring Hawan Kund.
